I had such a fabulous day yesterday. It makes all the recently terrible days at work okay when I can step away and enjoy life for a bit. Yeah - even if I had to wake up to another 2 inches of snow today - at least it covered up the gross snow in the backyard (ahem, Vegas).
Little Man had his 4 month appointment yesterday, and I don't think any one will accuse us of not feeding this chubby little person. He went from 44th percentile in weight and 41st percentile in height to a whopping 61st percentile in weight and - get this - 93rd (!!) in height. Little Man is getting tall. He went from being smaller than his sister was at that age to being a bit bigger (Madtown is tall as well). He got his shots (seriously, the nurses at their clinic rock as they can give shots to tiny ones with no tears) and checked out beautifully.
Don't you love the drool? I thought of "erasing" it from the photo, but it really is kind of where he is right now - drooling away!
Madeline, of course, had a blast visiting with Dr. Kane (this girl has a blast pretty much EVERYWHERE she goes - she certainly has a zest for life) and he commented that, while he doesn't see her for a few more months, she certainly seems to be thriving. That's my girl.
Also need to make mention of the fabulous seafood stew that Ryan made on Tuesday night. My mom purchased a Cooks Illustrated book 30 minute meal book for him for Xmas that he has been cooking out of and the meals are phenomenal - and QUICK - and EASY. Exactly what we need right now and proof positive that you don't need a lot of time to have good food.
Lastly - yes - LOVING my new camera. It takes wonderful pictures and I love being able to work without my flash. I actually got Ryan to use it last night to prove that it is user friendly.
